DATAengine, on-site, continuously monitors the plant, taking readings, direct
from actual equipment. A DEDICATED server immediately e-mails, when warning

visualisation of equipment and processes on a global scale. Using a "free" web
browser you can view information and set up your system from anywhere in the
world, all without SCADA type licensing.
Completely self contained VIRTUALinstruments can be added to
existing systems to provide complete measurement facilities, viewable and
configurable from any PC Web browser.
Internet connected instrumentation
You don't have to be
there! A range of familiar industrial functions can be viewed on the Internet,
from anywhere, instead of at the plant. Web pages mimic physical
instrumentation.
DEDICATED DATAengine
Each Vi includes a DEDICATED
DATAengine fitted on-site, which is pre-configured to connect directly to new
or existing sensors and stream the data to a fully maintained web site.
Because Vi uses the Interent to collect the data it can be
fitted anywhere in the world and, unlike simple Ethernet systems, Vi gives you
'live' information without needing a permanent Internet connection or any form
of Wide Area Network.
VIRTUALinstruments DATAengine inputs are designed to connect in
series with existing signal loops. Each input is fully floating, self powered
and isolated, so that it can be connected at any point in the loop, whereever
the wiring is convenient.
The input can be scaled and offset for engineering units and the
value displayed as, e.g. a Vi PANELmeter with digital display.
VIRTUALinstruments are held on a fully serviced Web server, so
that they can be viewed anywhere in the world for truly gobal remote
visualisation.
