The Vi CHARTmeter is a hosted application service and plant presence which
provides remote multi-user access to up to date information, direct from the
plant. 'Live' active Web pages can be viewed on a PC anywhere in the world.
Automatic e-mails immediately alert personnel if a warning level is reached, or
alarm or fault conditions occur.
Enabling supply chains and maintenance, monitoring and
service networks With Vi CHARTmeter you can operate collaborative networks
outside your organisation. Share selected operational information with
customers, suppliers, maintainers, for:
- Telemetry and global SCADA.
- Supply chain management:- remote monitoring, measurement
and control of inventory levels
- Enterprise asset maintenance:- remote monitoring and
management of assets and equipment
- Plant/process monitoring:- remote measurement and control
of plant/process.

Secure hosted Vi DATAbase and WEBserver "Hosted" from
one of the most secure facilities in the UK; with full back-ups, stand-by
generators and multiple Internet feeds. 'Industry standard' Linux operating
system runs Apache server software, with firewall.
Two user passwords;
manager and viewers, access Web pages for:
- Registration/activation and user/password login.
- Account status.
- Remote configuration for scaling, limits, e-mail
list.
- Current values and 24 hour rolling chart displays.
User configurable limits for; HiHi, Hi, Lo, LoLo.
E-mails; warning, alarm, fault alerts; two recipients. |
On-site Vi DATAengineEasily installed on the plant,
the DATAengine connects directly to existing sensors and through the Internet,
to the secure hosted DATAbase and WEBserver. DATApush technology triggers
immediate e-mail notifications of warning levels and alarm or fault conditions.
- Four analogue inputs; 4 to 20mA loop, isolated, 50 ohms
input resistance
- Sensor sampling rate; adjustable, 1/min to 1/day.
- Internal MODEM; with TCP/IP.
- Internet upload interval; adjustable; 10 mins to 24
hrs.
